Gurley has a Population of 217

The Gurley Post Office has been operating in Gurley for 95 years. Local Kim Jackson has recently been assigned to the job of Gurley's 12th Post mistress. The Post office has recently been moved into new premises withn the Tramby and Hanks building.

The Gurley Pony Club hosts a pony camp annually during the Sept/Oct school holidays and holds ribbon days occassionally throughout the year.

The Gurley Tennis Club has recently been resurrected with the construction of two floodlit tennis courst and refurbishment of the RSL Hall. The Club hopes to hold a tennis coaching camp and competitions in the future.

The development of these facilities in conjunction with the Gurley Fire Brigade and Progress Association with hopes to establish a great venue for all community functions.

There are also plans for a childrens playground to be built.
